About the ToonTones Color Memory Game

ToonTones is a free color memory game that doubles as a quick color memory test. You study a target shade for a few seconds, it disappears, and you rebuild it from memory using hue, saturation, and lightness sliders. Every round is scored from 0 to 10 so you can see exactly how sharp your color recall is — no signup, no download, instant play in any browser.

How the core pages fit together

Unlike games where you just pick the matching swatch, ToonTones makes you reproduce the color yourself. The homepage is the playable round. The Color Memory Test page explains the recall side of the game: how well you hold a shade after it disappears. The Color Accuracy Test page explains the scoring side: how precisely your final HSL match lands. If you prefer side-by-side visual scanning instead of hidden-shade recall, use the Odd Color Out guide.

Classic, Daily Challenge & Tone Legends

Play Classic mode for unlimited replays, take the Daily Color Challenge for one committed attempt a day, or climb the Tone Legends game leaderboard to compare your color memory against other players. Some players search for it as legends tone; it is the same ToonTones ranking and score-tier page. If you are chasing the rarest scores, the Top 100 Tone Legends guide explains what the top tier means. If you only want one next step, play here first, then branch into the guide that matches the skill you want to improve.

Who plays ToonTones

Designers, photographers, and artists use it to sharpen color recall, while everyone else just enjoys a fast, satisfying brain game. Whether you call it a color memory game, a color recall test, or a toon-tone color find game, the goal is the same: get as close to the hidden shade as your eyes can manage.
