Score guide

What your ToonTones score means.

A good color memory score is not about naming the color. It is about matching the target shade closely enough across hue, saturation, and lightness.

The three parts of a color guess

Hue

Hue is the color family. A tiny hue miss can turn yellow into orange or blue into violet.

Saturation

Saturation controls whether the color feels vivid, flat, soft, or gray.

Lightness

Lightness controls brightness. This is where many strong guesses lose points.

How to improve your score

Set hue first

Get the color family close before adjusting brightness or vividness.

Then lower saturation

Most remembered colors are less neon than your first guess.

Finish with lightness

Small brightness changes often decide whether a guess feels close or wrong.
